I come from an old Italian family that is full of Parma tradition. At the same time, my family has traveled all over the world and we have had the opportunity to host friends who come here from many distant countries.
About ten years ago, when my parents passed on their beautiful apartment to me, it was a natural thing to open a Bed and Breakfast, so that I could continue to welcome guests from near and far.
I live in the apartment with my grown sons, but I have converted a few of the rooms into private bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. There are three guest rooms in all. Two of them, though on separate floors, can be connected to form one unit for friends or families traveling together.
You should know that most of the art — paintings, pieces of furniture — are known to me, since they were in my grandparents’ home even when I was a little girl. They have been passed on through the generations. I have also added contemporary pieces of art that have been masterfully created by Parma artists. As you can see from the photos — the rooms have clean lines, carefully chosen antiques, with an occasional new piece of art for you to admire.
A friend working in tourism says: “Stylish and comfortable rooms in a private palazzo. To me, the charm of your B&B is the tastefulness and comfort of the surroundings and the fact that it is in such an elegant noble house. Really, the environment is extraordinary!”
I hope that you, my guest, will love your time in this very special Parma home.
I look forward to welcoming you!
